Hi, I’m Erin O’Connor, a professional headshot and portrait photographer based in Central Oregon. I specialize in professional headshots, personal branding portraits, artful maternity photography and thoughtfully directed portrait sessions for individuals, professionals and businesses throughout Bend, Redmond and the surrounding region.
My approach is highly personal and carefully guided. You do not need to arrive knowing how to pose or feeling naturally comfortable in front of the camera. I help with preparation, wardrobe, body angle, posture and expression so the experience feels clear and collaborative—and the finished photographs feel confident, natural and recognizably you.

With more than 30 years of experience across photography, professional retouching and curatorial practice, I bring both visual judgment and technical precision to every session. I hold an MA in Art History and Curatorial Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and my background influences how I plan, compose, assess and select imagery.
I do not approach a session as a matter of simply creating as many photographs as possible. I consider what the images need to communicate, how they will be used and which selections form the strongest, most cohesive visual story.

My extensive background in high-end photo retouching allows me to oversee the complete visual process from capture through final delivery.
